What is SEEARP?
SEEARP stands for State Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate Program. Under this program each state receives a portion of the $296 Million designated by the Federal Government for the program. The money is to be applied as rebates on Energy-Star rated appliances, as an incentive for people to upgrade from less efficient models. Each state has a different plan for implementing the rebate program, but all 50 states are participating in one form or another.
